SSD Roundup
Sony introduces a ultra-mobile PC WITH 32GB SSD. Similar model was already available on Japan for while. Akihabara News already reviewed the unit here.
Ritek announced a NAND-based SSD. 16GB and 32GB around $200 on 2nd quarter of 2007. I didn't find any information on its speed but my guess will be slower with that price. More information at DigiTimes.
More expensive SSD already announced a week ago from SanDisk. 32GB SSD will cost around $600 for 62MB transfer speed.
PQI and Samsung SSD are already available on certain PC and special online store but not for less than $1000. If you want cheap SSD right now and don't mind the speed or capacity, you can get Transcend Flash IDE drive.
