Part 2: Tried to Install Linux on i-RAM again
Tried fix the boot problem again by installing boot manager on the hard drive instead of the floppy. Didn't worked. Should have waited for i-RAM version 2 or other SSD. The MBR was never backup correctly even though the backup file exists on the boot directory.
Tried Windowx XP install CD to repair the disk, but it made worse: I couldn't even see any partition on the disk. Tried half dozen Windows disk repair programs from Google search. When I noticed one program turning off Windows Automatic Update services, I knew I've been infected with trojan virus: turn off bunch of Windows services, install small program all over the disk, add auto-start program.
Had to spend about an hour to restore the computer from the Norton Ghost backups. Didn't lose any file but my browser cache and visited links. Windows sucks. Installing Ubuntu server on the 2nd computer.
