My First Application using Digg API

Some output from my first application using Digg API.

Statistics on the number of digg friends of my digg friends
Min       = 0
Max = 2053
Average = 252.08
Std. Dev. = 331.91

And here is the chart I made with OpenOffice Calc. I didn't know there was no easy way to export the chart to an image in Calc. I thought that "select chart" and "click export" would be sufficed.

OpenOffice Scatter Plot

OpenOffice 2.3 finally support better scatter plot. However there are two thing still may annoy new user.

The first thing is that "Sort X values" option is off by default in "XY (Scatter)". Am I wrong or the option should be off usually for line graph, not scatter plot? Anyway, make sure to check the option if you don't want to see result like this:

The second thing is that the labels will not display even if you entered values for "Data labels". I was expecting that the labels to show up automatically if you entered the values. In order to show the labels,

  1. Create chart with data labels
  2. Double click on the chart
  3. Insert → Data Labels...
  4. Check "Show label text"
