I'm not sure whether the company is still working on prototype or they even exists anymore.

HyperDrive4 on Gearlog

Didn't see GearLog's coverage on HyerDrive4 yesterday. HyerDrive4 is too expensive and i-RAM's isn't going anywhere. I think they'll be killed by flash based disk this year.

HyperDrive 4 Revision 2

Just notice new revision of HyperDrive 4. I don't know why this product didn't get much press as Gigabyte i-RAM. And I believe DDRdrive got more press and they don't even have product to show up yet. It's probably HyperDrive requires registered ECC which costs more.

It support 4GB ECC RAM which means 32GB total capacity. Big enough to install Vista? But 4GB ECC costs around $1500.
